The rumors first started when she dropped out of a role for Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie, “For Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.”
This week, while on stage performing, Mariah Carey looked very pregnant, and the media started to cover the rumor once again. Nick Cannon said that Mariah would make a statement on the issue when she was ready to do so. Carey responded to the story today thanking everyone for their good tidings, but saying that she was very superstitious about these kinds of things.
“When the time is right, everyone will know – even my publicist,” she said, basically confirming the news that she was pregnant.
