Ever since Joe Jonas started dating Twilight actress Ashley Greene, his mom Denise has been waiting for the relationship to fall apart, just like all of Joe's past relationships did. Instead, she's watched as they grew closer and eventually moved in together! That's made Mrs. Jonas even more upset; she raised all her children with a strict moral and religious code and she doesn't like the way Ashley has affected Joe's lifestyle.
Since he started dating Ashley, Joe has stopped wearing his famous purity ring, a signature Jonas accessory. According to Hollywood Life, Mama Jonas didn't like that at all.
"Normally [Joe']s the one calling the shots, but now Ashley's the one leading the relationship," a family friend revealed. "She's edgier and older than Joe's other girlfriends and his mom isn't thrilled about the situation."
"Joe has always been the one to push the envelope a little bit. Denise knows her boys are heartthrobs, but she's kind of nervous of the way Ashley has Joe wrapped around her finger."
It sounds like she's just looking out for her little boy. But she should be careful, if Joe finds out his mom doesn't like Ashley it will only make him want her more! Joe can make his own choices, and if he wants to take off his purity ring for his new girlfriend, then more power to him. It's hard for an adult to get taken seriously if he's considered a mama's boy, and Joe has been trying to launch a solo career.
