June 11, 2009 is the fourth wedding anniversary of Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki.
Silverstone and Jarecki were married on the shores of Lake Tahoe in 2005. Their wedding remains one of the most popular weddings on Celebrity Bride Guide to this day.

1. THE WEDDING DRESS
Silverstone was one of the first celebrities to put Monique Lhuillier on the map. She chose a white strapless dress with a sage green sash at the waist. Brides today are still copying Alicia’s wedding dress.
2. THE ECO-FRIENDLY ELEMENTS
The nature-themed affair was entirely organic and green. Silverstone and Jarecki sent out recycled invitations, served an all-vegan menu, and sat at bamboo chairs and tables made of two-hundred-year-old lumber.
3. THE VENUE
The wedding took place on a rocky beach with a backdrop of sequoias and mountains in front of a private estate in Lake Tahoe.
4. THE CEREMONY
Silverstone was barefoot as she walked down the aisle to John Lennon’s “Imagine.” After the vows, the officiant blessed the couple with water she had collected from the lake. Guests then tossed gardenias and lavendar on the newlyweds.
5. THE CAMPFIRE
After midnight, guests gathered around a campfire and sang Beatles’ songs together on the shores of the lake.
